Eager Beaver Moving began its journey in 1984 as well as its mission to develop relationships that last. Jack Watson, Co-Founder of Eager Beaver Moving, had been in the freight and moving industry for almost 25 years before then. Jack rose to the rank of superintendent with Gimli Transfer and then as manager of the furniture storage division with Beaver Storage. During this time, the love for quality work and pride in the work was born. Jack's stint with the two big companies made him realize the potential of a love with as much regard for the job as he did. There came a time when Eaton's wanted to sell its old fleet, and Jack jumped on the chance. Jack called a friend from Eaton's Asset Management, and soon he was signing for several iconic Ford cabovers to move from Eaton's fleet to start his business.

Eager Beaver Moving was referred to me by my Realtor, Ian Beattie, and I would highly recommend them to anyone planning a move. Over the years I have accumulated an insurmountable amount of antique china and furniture, all irreplaceable and some being heirlooms. Eager Beaver staff wrapped my antique furniture and loaded them with great care. The guys were polite, respectful and very nice. They take the stress out of moving, they do it quickly, efficiently and the total bill was $3500 less than their competitors quote. I was so impressed with the hard work of James, Thor, Faron and Alex, as well as the reinforcement they brought in to help with loading. If it was ethical I would have offered them all a career in the construction industry. Thank you kindly for your expertise!
