Richmond Center (Shell Road/Cambie Road) Welcome to our Kids & Company Richmond centre. We are conveniently situated near Shell Road and Cambie Road. Our six classrooms accommodate up to 124 children aged 6 to 5. This nurturing and warm environment is exemplified by the bright and colourful classrooms. Our vast playground is where children love to play outside and draw with chalk while playing games. They love playing in the rain, collecting leaves and practicing physical education. Our teachers are a cohesive team dedicated to helping each child reach their next milestone and transition between classrooms. My name is Thaisbher and I am the Director of Kids & Company - Richmond. I have an Early Childhood Education Diploma from Vancouver Career College and Montessori Training. I also have a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Venezuela. I have over 11 years of experience in child care and love to work in this industry. My family consists of my husband, Jorge, and our son, Manolo. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, crafting, and embroidery. I look forward to talking to you. My favourite part of the day is walking by a classroom and hearing the students have a great time. Reviews of the Center for Early Learning and Child Care The daycare has received consistent and overwhelmingly positive feedback from parents. My daughter came there for the first time when she was 15 months, she does not cry or get upset when I drop her off in the morning, rather she is always excited to be at school. All children are happy and busy. In 9 months my daughter has learned so much. The facility and the classrooms are always clean and filled with fun new toys and activities. I am also reassured by their high standards and health and safety policies. The most significant attractions of this daycare are the well-planned curriculum with critical emphasis on learning through play and socialization and the teachers' efforts in demonstrating interest in kids learning and their safety, health and happiness. At this place kids are really loved. I am always amazed at how the teachers interact with the kids. The child to teacher ratio is very good, teachers can really pay close attention to the children in their classroom. This has been a good experience for us, I feel secured with sending my daughter here every day(enabled me to feel comfortable working full time). Additionally, many families felt good regarding daycare's meals being nutritious and well balanced which eases the mind my kid eating healthy, tasty meals every day. The parent's of the kids are always happy with the food there. They give updates and communicate to the parents daily. The daycare has a great app for communication. It's easy to use and the staff updates the meals, nap, and cumbersome time of the kid. I also get photos of my kid and updates on what they have been doing through out the day. The center is also very affordable. The Center for Early Learning and Child Care is safe and has the necessary equipment to help the kids settle in without any worries. The most important thing is that, my daughter has made friends – she always talks about her friends at school and how they do play and share toys together. They.... Parents noticed that teachers successfully promote values such as respect, helping others, sharing and working together through various activities such as circle time and indoor and outdoor playing games (there was specific mention of caleb who had tatoo arm pairing with an older kid). Parents are updated about the kids through picture, artwork take-home every week, videos of the kids, journals and personal notes of your kids throughout the day delivered to your hands when you pick your kid. The director is always there to communicate with you about your issues and ideas. This place is like a home to your kid. I am super happy with kids and company Richmond.
