Is this the way to go? The pace of life has increased dramatically in the modern world. There is lots to do in a day, and even more to achieve in a lifetime. At times, one becomes so engrossed in the daily activities that they fail to make proper use of the available time. For instance, in times of leisure, some individuals choose to focus on activities that would leave them exhausted. Such people do not consider the fact that work would become overwhelming if they did not take much-needed breaks. Relaxation is of essence since it determines the general productivity of an individual. Some individuals might think that playing or napping at particular moments may not help them regain energy. However, such people fail to understand that rest enhances mental and physical health. While they believe in spending time engaged in various activities, choosing to rest would give them a different view of life. Their schedules will flow as they shall complete more tasks at ease. Restrictions concerning leisure are often set by hidden societal norms. Such rules might differ from one culture to another. A certain society may condemn rest during day time. Individuals in such communities, believing in the perception, may choose to spend their time playing or walking around. This may drastically reduce productivity, hence leading to a vicious cycle. Critical analysis must be done to determine the relevance of a certain activity.
