NSCECE

The NSCECE is a leading not-for-profit and board-governed educational institution. We have laid the foundation for professional and personal growth at the Nova Scotia College of Early Childhood Education (NSCECE). Our ECE program is a two-year Early Childhood Education Diploma Program. It is a developmentally appropriate, research-based, and evaluated program. At NSCECE, students take family and child-focused courses. The program introduces learners to developmentally appropriate educational practices and knowledge for ECE careers. Design, implementation, and evaluation of appropriate curriculum ideas help children's growth from birth to 12. It includes 870 hours of class instructions and a 600-hour practicum. Evening classes are offered part-time, giving students schedule flexibility. There are many places to work after graduation, including schools, childcare facilities, private homes, nurseries, developmental centers, and schools. More than 95% of NSCECE students find jobs in ECE after graduation.
