Roots lie in scholarly, career-driven, and innovative education that tackles the needs of modern society. Named to honour Egerton Ryerson, the first superintendent of education in Ontario, Toronto Metropolitan University is now a postsecondary institution that combines technical training with academic theory. The university is Canada's leading institution for career-oriented, innovative education. Toronto Metropolitan University currently has over 46,000 students. The university is also a vibrant, multicultural institution with 3,800 faculty members and staff. It is located at the intersection of action and intellect. In class, our students learn from the expertise of industry experts and professors. They gain practical knowledge and experience that complements their academic learning. Diversity, innovation, and entrepreneurship are the core value hinges of the institution. The university has committed to making a better city, seen in our award-winning Student Learning Centre and the multifunctional Daphne Cockwell Health Sciences Complex.

Having looked at review feedback, it is clear that the institution is popular overall, with many people considering it a suitable university location in Toronto. The campus was described as clean, quiet, and in a fantastic neighborhood for dog owners who want to take their pets out for a walk. Many students consider it an ideal place for their education, with few distractions. The management and staff are lovely and cater to students' needs, notably students who are not part of the institution. This inclusivity was recognized during Pride day celebrations. In addition, the college was said to have eateries around it, making it convenient for students to pick up snacks. This is a positive step for the institution. However, there was one drawback, which was feeling anxious while waiting for a drop-off or pick-up car during busy periods, but on the whole, the facility is commended by many.
