Bakersfield, where I grew up, is an extraordinary place. I am a product of this great city. After receiving an education from Foothill High School, I enrolled at Bakersfield College. I pursued a degree in English education from Fresno State. I later enrolled at the San Joaquin College of Law, where I acquired a Juris Doctorate. My primary goal was to return to Bakersfield and use my skills to help the local community. I was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2010. I have actively participated in various community services in Bakersfield and the surrounding areas. I volunteered with Kern County Young Lawyer's Section, Kern County Women Lawyer's Section, and Kern County Criminal Defense Section. Previously, I worked at The Tulare County Public Defender's Office. I have also practiced at The Law Office David A. Torres. I also graduated from the Gerry Spence Trial College and National Criminal Defense College. Throughout my time in law, I have gained a better understanding and respect for our legal system's complexities. Being a native of Bakersfield, I understand local laws and culture, and my goal is to help my clients meet their legal needs.
