Spontaneous and organic learning encourages critical thinking and experimentation. Coronavirus in-person classes are based on learning through play, art exploration, and creativity. Each class involves a creative process that incorporates the child’s intention, experience of making, and connection to materials. The toddler class is best for energetic 2-4yr-olds who love to make messes while exploring, painting, and using natural materials. Elementary school-aged kids learn about art forms and their technique in the afternoon workshops and classes. Painted Leaf Studio encourages a circular economy and uses sustainable and environment-friendly materials. Its first priority is durable goods, natural materials, and reusing and recycling. The studio respects and admires nature and its beauty, as our children do.
