Christine, a Boston native, has now become a global citizen. Beacon Gallery serves as her local commitment to the Boston region. In 2017, Beacon Gallery opened its doors in the Boston suburb. Christine’s dream of creating a gallery that would treat emerging and respected artists with reverence was realized. She also wanted a platform that could create access to art and is founded on community principles. Beacon Gallery, located in the South End, is home to emerging and well-established artists. The gallery hosts thought-provoking group and solo shows as well community building events. The gallery is a partnership dedicated to the Boston area's greater art community. We consistently present carefully curated exhibitions of original conceptual art. Our exhibitions communicate compelling messages and provide unique perspectives. The curatorial team and I strive to make art more accessible to the public as well as collectors, institutions, local and global. Christine’s background in the arts and education has influenced all aspects of her shows and artists. Everything she does is rooted in her commitment to equity and social impact. She serves as the gallery's primary curator. Christine also curates shows and juries them independently within the art community. Through her gallery, a registered 501(c),3 organization, Beacon Gallery Consulting, and SCORE, she conducts workshops for artists, art lovers, and interested parties. Christine is a member of the Association of Women's Art Dealers and Boston Art Dealers Association. She is also a member of the International Society of Appraisers. Christine is a Partner in Madrid's Very Private Gallery. She earned a Master's degree in Art History from the Open University, UK, and an MA in Teaching from Tufts University. She holds a Bachelor's degree from the College of the Holy Cross, Massachusetts.
