I am the Dog Obedience Guy. I specialize in fearful, shy, and separation-anxious dogs. I am a behavioral dog trainer. I have worked for seven years to create lasting relationships between you and your dog. The goal is to open the lines of communication between your dog and you. You will know what your dog is thinking and learn how to help your dog become a leader in your home. Only positive reinforcement and behavior modification are used in my training. Dominance is not a part of this program. This package is a 2-week plan. The goal is to learn how to teach the basic commands including "sit, down", "stay", "wait", "come", "leave", and so on. You have the option to add any command you would like to teach your dog free of charge. You will learn the commands and how to continue the high level of training after the program ends. Any behavioral issues your dog may be having can also be resolved. Some of your dog’s behaviors could be excessive barking or jumping. You may also want to address other behaviors such as counter-surfing, digging, and greeting guests at your door. I work with you and your dog at your home to help your dog. The strategy I use is based on positive reinforcement and a balanced approach to find the root cause of the problem. Your dog may exhibit all forms of aggression. These kinds of behavior may have many triggers. When I visit your home, I will be able to assess your behavior and determine what is causing it.
