After he finished his degree in Carnegie Mellon University, with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, he enrolled in Business Strategy MBA. As a result of a cancer diagnosis, Rick joined the insurance industry. He was not enjoying health insurance options. He has been serving in the insurance sector as a salesman since 1986. His unique selling proposition is his customer service ability, which he does not want anyone to undergo the same ordeal as he did.
