Hello! I am Dr. Michelle Mendoza. I was born in San Antonio, Texas. I moved to El Paso in 2005. I have a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Texas, San Antonio. I started medical training two years after the clinical research. I went to Medical School in Wright State University, Dayton Ohio. My first job after residency was in Hospital Medicine, where I cared for critically ill patients. Wright State University, Dayton Ohio is where I obtained my Medical doctor's degree. My next stop would be Austin Texas, where I'd do an internal medicine residency. After completing my residency, I was invited to become chief resident. Since 2004, I am Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Now I have been practicing for the past 16 years. Soon after moving to El Paso, I was a primary physician in an Internal Medicine practice. I was a medical director for a hospice, lead physician for a palliative program, and Medical Director of a skilled nursing facility. After a year, I was promoted into medical director and eventually a lead physician. I have learned to treat patients who suffered from advanced illnesses, such as heart failure, kidney disease at the end of its course, diabetes, and autoimmune diseases. I enjoyed being a leader and enjoyed helping patient care. When I moved to El Paso, I had to quit my job since I could not get a Texas license. My last position was in a medical director role, and I was responsible for medical leadership. I was the lead Rheumatologist, Internal Medicine specialist, and Palliative Medicine specialist. I led the patient care team, managed the disease management programs, and delivered evidence-based treatment to the patients. My primary responsibility was to lead the patient care team that provided chronic disease management for the patients. I learned a lot during these experiences and have many fond memories dealing with the patients. I encountered cancer, autoimmune, and chronic disease patients who required pain management and mental health recognition. I threw my 2105 away to fulfill my dream of starting a wellness clinic. I only did Medspas, and I did not have any idea that it would grow to what it has become today. I am always thankful for the patients who moved with me and the new patients who joined me downstream. In 2016, I opened a Medspa. Vitality Medical Spa evolved over the years into a Wellness Clinic that specializes in Weight Loss and Hormonal Therapy. Aesthetic Services are still available, such as Dysport and Facial Fillers. Micro-needling using platelet-rich Plasma, Chemical Peels, etc. Vitality MD offers high quality nutraceuticals and vitamin injections. It also has Vitality Skin Essentials - a botanical skincare line. Over thirty patients enrolled in my first few months of business. Customer satisfaction and results are my business success. I like to make sure my patients know I care for them. My passion is getting to know patients and helping them lead healthier lives. I started my training in Preventative Medicine and Aesthetic Medicine in 2014. This led me to holistic healing to prevent early age-related diseases and chronic conditions. With the integrative medicine specialty, I have satisfaction with the mind, body, and spirit when taking care of patients. I will soon complete an Integrative Medicine Fellowship.

Dr. Mendoza and her team have received a large number of great feedbacks from clients, with nine of them rating the doctor as four or five stars. Dr. Mendoza stands out for listening and caring, as a person stressed. They go above and beyond, with others saying that they are detail-oriented and knowledgeable.
