ABOUT   Services Excellence Summary

Barack Obama-44th President of the United States Few presidents have had to walk a path as difficult as that to the White House. Barack Obama was born into a Kansas mother and a Kenyan father’s union in Hawaii. His grandparents were parental figures, and their Midwestern generosity demonstrated homespun values and optimism. Obama’s grandparents looked at the world with rose-colored glasses, and their positive outlook shaped his upbringing. The young senator from Illinois pursued a law degree, which he financed through scholarships and student loans. He moved to Chicago, where they worked with churches to rebuild communities affected by the steel plant’s closure. His life soon revolved around the idea that ordinary citizens could be united around a political purpose. He learned that a lot of hard work was needed to bring new life to the community. Obama was elected the 44th president of the United States on November 4, 2008. He won the presidential contest by more votes than any other candidate, including a victory in the electoral college, where he got 365 votes. Barack Obama, so-called candidate of hope and change, won the election when US citizens most needed hope and change. America was at war with the planet and on the planet, and the American Dream was in danger. The two wars were draining the economy. The new president elected on the promise that he would save the economy and the American automobile industry. He reforms the American health system to provide coverage for another twenty million Americans. All this while overseeing some of the most successful job creation in American history. President Obama saved the American economy by lowering corporate taxes and increasing the minimum working wage. He saved the planet by saving the American economy. Obama’s faith in American leadership and principled diplomacy helped end two wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, eliminate al Qaeda, the most wanted terrorists globally, and close down Iran’s nuclear weapons program. All this set a positive tone and opened eyes for a new chapter for the Cuban people and a coordinated humanity action against climate change. Obama most certainly led the most powerful and humane administrations in the history of the United States. He created a strong economy, equal society, and a nation that is safe and respected globally. Barack Obama and Michelle are proud parents to two beautiful daughters, Malia (and Sasha).
