AO Studios, located at 62 Geary Avenue in San Francisco, features nine studios each measuring 10ft x11ft. Each space is surrounded by a warehouse with 13ft high ceilings. There are also heating and cooling systems, a kitchenette, and hygienic sinks. Storage and galleries can be found on the front. The site also includes a spray booth and woodshed, as well as gardens, courtyards, and murals. Eight shipping containers, 8ft by 20ft, have been converted into art studios. Each container has a glass front, is insulated and drywalled, as well as being powered. Soon, more details and pictures will be posted. The largest and newest studio, Unit 214, houses 18 creative professionals within a 4,300-square-foot warehouse. It features glass garage doors that let in plenty of natural light, and fresh air. The communal space is used for client meetings, documentation of work, co-working tables, and workshops. The studio is made up of semi-private and private spaces. There are also 3 storage areas shared, a kitchenette, and an eating area.

Alanna earned an honors BA in Fine Arts at McMaster University (2002) and a BEd Arts-Based Learning degree from Queen's University, Canada (2005). Alanna Peters explores the concept of impermanence by using light and motion. In her paintings, she juxtaposes the realism and abstraction of the figures with detailed realism. Transparency allows her to capture weightlessness and reflection. She paints figuratively in oil on wooden panels. She wants to engage the viewer in an emotional dialogue and share their experience. I consider myself a creative person. I am someone who is driven by a passion for expressing emotion and insight with words and art. You can see me in many different forms when you read and view my poems or artwork. You can view multiple portraits of yourself but also see the world from my perspective. I have never been able to pin down my artwork or put it into one category, although others have tried. Artistically, my goal is to stimulate the mind and stir emotions. My hope is that you will be taken on a mental and spiritual journey by my art. A journey of peaks and valleys that never ends along an endless road.
