There is more to me than my experience of working with people for 28 years and my Texas education. It's important to remember that although I have been married for 48+ years, I was unable to bear my children. After 18 years of marriage, I and my husband had a major issue. I sought counseling. We ended up divorcing. After seven years of divorce, I finally gave up being stubborn and found the man I loved. When I returned, I inquired if he believed we could have avoided divorce if we had found the right therapist. He replied that he believed so. Then I decided that I wanted to become the right therapist for other people. To ensure that you and your spouse can share the same joy as mine. One problem is that insurance doesn't cover couples counseling. I also couldn’t practice as a therapist in any other state than the one where my license was issued.
