I am very disappointed with the customer service at Craze Outdoors. My sister went to return a lawn chair that was NOT used. It was in mint condition and could not be used for the purpose we bought it for because the chair was faulty. First we spoke with the son of the owner (in-person), who said that there was a scuff on the bag and they could not resell it. Then, we spoke to the owner, Jason (over the phone), and he said he would take a look at it if we brought it in again. My sister and mom did, and asked for Jason specifically (as he told us to do) and he said he was "too busy". The son then continued to refuse a return. We explained to the owner that it was bought for my mom to lay in at the hospital because my grandma was at the hospital at the time but we could not use it because the padding wasn't right. Two days later, our grandma passed, and we never used the chair at all. His main concern was that he could not resell or make money off of it now (due to the scuff on the bag), so there was nothing he could do except ask for warranty from the brand and get us a new chair. We explained to him that there is no use for the chair now, and he still refused to return the product. So to summarize: 1. We bought a lawn chair for one purpose, and the chair was faulty 2. We never used the chair because it was faulty 3. Our grandma passed a couple days later, and then we decided to return the never-before-used chair 4. The owner's son denied a return due to a scuff on the bag 5. We spoke with the owner and he said to come back to the store so he could take a look at it, and for us to ask for Jason directly 6. The owner would not see us and then the son denied a return once again. 7. The store kept the item as they are claiming that they will declare warranty from the brand and send us a new chair (which we don't need now) 8. We are left with a product we needed and could not use, and someone who only cares about the money he can make and not the satisfaction of the costumer. I would not buy from here as they are clearly not worried about whether their products are satisfying the customer's needs or if the products they sell are in good condition and they only worried about the money that they are making off of their customers. Very poor customer service and very unfortunate for a small business.
