The vision of Grey Matter Montessori was established by extra loving mothers Shirin Rayani, Reshma Moledina, and Nazia Lakha. They recognized and felt the burning need to create a better learning environment for young children during their prime years of development, when they are most inquisitive and knowledgeable. Shirin was inspired to start a Montessori preschool after becoming a mother and noticing the lack of high-quality early education options. However, she soon discovered how common her concerns were. Reshma and Shirin have over 30 years of experience in early childhood education, and they share their passion for the highest quality education. Their unwavering commitment to academic excellence and tomorrow's leaders makes them leaders in the field. Grey Matter Montessori provides unique and transformative experiences for all families. This includes children aged three to twelve. Our mission, to offer Montessori-inspired education, has always been clear. The school has various programs that encourage student growth, well-rounded development, and belonging. These programs include sports, dance, yoga, gymnastics, and job introductions, which do not require additional funds. These add value to the IPC curriculum. In addition, we have strong and trustworthy connections with the Evanston Community. This community has a wealth of cultures, experiences, and opportunities that enable us to enhance our students' development. This allows us to make secure and reliable partnerships and connections with the Evanston Community, which is rich in cultures, experiences, and opportunities, allowing us to multiply our students' developmental benefits.

I went here to pick up my sister, yet the staff did not let me pick her up, even though I clearly dropped her off to school. They asked my for my ID, even though they have no way of telling that it was real. Also, IDs have no criminal info on them. I also went to the open house but apparently the staff was different then. They never pick up their phone, and make the students do colouring pages all day. No useful skills were taught, yet they charged an insane/ridiculous amount of money EACH MONTH. There was no viewing the curriculum/what they taught at this school. The school building is very small, cluttered, and messy. Fifty kids cramped into a room the size of the pizza store Little Caesar's. On the last day they brought animals (Goats, sheep rabbits) into the building next door. They said during school hours students would visit from 11:00 - 11:25, but the truck got there early. They moved the kids in on shifts of around 7min each, and took them all in by 11:00. After school however, they let much more people in, including parents WITHOUT THEIR ID or any proofs. This school has/is a broken system 0/10 would not recommend to anyone.
