At Preschool 101, we believe that play is crucial. It is our educational philosophy that children learn best through play. Play is a dynamic learning environment where children can actively explore their environment and create new experiences while participating in their development. This concept is taken from Child Development: Its Nature, Course, Third Edition. Lillard A.S. (1993). Available from nobody teaches children to play, it is something that occurs naturally. We work with our children by playing. We provide an environment where children play, and through this, we create an environment where children can learn. Over time, the child will understand how to play and begin to think about how to solve a variety of situations in the game. Our curriculum is focused on play. Preschool 101 is an educational institution in Calgary. EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATIONS (3-5 years) is offered by Preschool 101. Our early childhood programs are delivered by certified and trained staff. All our staff are certified as Child Development Supervisors or Child Development Assistants, as required by Alberta Government Children & Youth Services. Our preschool principal educator...
