Reliable Since opening in August 2002, Prestige has been charming the dance community with cutting-edge, engaging classes that exceed technical quality expectations. Prestige Faculty continues to invest time and money to provide excellent programs that meet changing students' needs and families. Prestige is always evolving by learning from the past and now offering updated and new programs every season. Find a sessional or ten-month class that fits your needs and your family's needs (September to June). Ballet Technique Ballet emphasizes discipline and creativity with an emphasis on classical technique. Ballet classes also emphasize flexibility, musicality, strength, and turnout. Ballet class begins with a warm-up at the barre and then goes on to exercises on both sides of the floor. The length of a ballet class varies with your skill level, ranging from 45 minutes to an hour and a half. Classes are conducted once or twice weekly. Ballet classes begin in September and culminate in a performance at the end of the recital season in June. Ballet classes contain a heavy technical component, with barre work and cross-floor exercises dominating the first half of the year. Stage Now is the most exciting time to watch your dancer's progress and accomplishments on stage. We begin choreography for our year-end recital ballet classes halfway through the school year. We then begin placing orders for all recital costumes in the fall and winter, with elements generally arriving by spring.

Another parent also added, "From Zoom calls for the dancers just to chat with their friends and teachers... to team Netflix movie nights... Instagram dance challenges, online virtual classes and live zoom classes... the studio went above and beyond to keep everyone connected and most importantly dancing... something that is a significant part of our kids lives. At this time, they needed as much normality in their lives, and the studio helped with this tremendously." The children enjoy their time at the academy, which must mean that the environment is safe and enjoyable. My children receive the very best dance training from all of the qualified teachers that work at Prestige.
