I had the owner Steve (?) repair my SIMMs G3 gortex waders. It was a simple seam tape leak. I went back 4 times to make the repairs. Steve thought he was doing a good thing. In the end the waders had repair on top of repair on top of repair. And they still leak. Most of his patches have delaminated.
Talked to Simms and they would not have any thing to do with my waders after viewing the repairs.
I'm not driving back to Calgary to have him attempt another repair (as his work is warrantied)
I now have to replace the waders
All I wanted was a blow out seam tape repaired.
Steve is a real nice guy. Great Calgary business. but he shouldn't be doing wader repairs because they are not effective
