Airways Rentals, Leasing, and Sales took off in 1963 with the name "Airways Rent a Car of Western Canada," providing rental cars in Edmonton Municipal Airport. The rental industry was substantially changed nearly fifty years ago. Back then, vehicles did not have power windows or air conditioning, and the only things we had in the office were typewriters, rotary-dial telephones, and carbon copies.
