About this business

Breathe Outdoors resides on Treaty 6 Territory, a place where the Cree, the Saulteaux, the Blackfoot, the Metis, and the Denes traditionally met, lived, and traveled. The Blackfoot Confederacy, which includes the Siksikas, the Piikani, and the Kainais, as well as the Tsuut'ina Nation, Stoney Nakoda First Nations and the Tsuut'ina Nation, have also called this area home. We acknowledge the presence of First Nations, Metis and Inuit communities who have lived on these lands since time immemorial. Since 1963, Breathe Outdoors (formerly Campers Village) has been an Alberta-based adventure shop. We have been assisting Albertans to relish the outdoors. Our products and knowledge can help you achieve your goals. Our online shop offers free shipping across Canada for all orders of $49 and above. We also have two Edmonton outlets, one in Calgary, and a new one in Edmonton. Our history spans over a century, but we will remain a local, Alberta-owned store. However, the planet has changed. We are not a brand or emblem for all our clients. Some people don't want to go camping. In 1960, camping was a radical notion. The customers preferred a pioneering lifestyle. Backpacking and camping are now facets of an active outdoor lifestyle, frequently as a part of and to support and facilitate outdoor adventures. We must get used to the changes in outdoor recreation. We don't want to metamorphose into "Camper's Village" because we are a peaceful place where you can relax and revitalize in this natural area. Breathe Outdoors, formerly Campers Village, is a site where you can participate in various activities. The appearance may be different, but you can still believe us. Your trustworthy local outdoor merchant. We will retain the ownership, mission and core values; we have always embraced them.
