Welcome to Good News Auto Mechanic! Our story is one of a clean, affordable, trustworthy, and dependable mechanic shop. Our story started at Sherwood Park Alliance Church under the name Car Care. That mission started 20 years ago when people needed a solution to the question: how do I ensure my car is safe when I drive on the roads? The goal was to partner with local mechanics and organize volunteers to provide basic repairs to cars. We were also excited to give away and fix vehicles that were considered unsafe but needed to be replaced. The Car Care mission assisted individuals living on a tight budget and those in a difficult situation. People who could not afford car maintenance on top of other household expenditure had a new lease of life. Volunteers from Car Care and church members donated old cars, finances, and committed their time to fixing this problem.

There appears to be a deal for first-time car repair customers. That level of professionalism, transparency and customer care is quite rare amongst car repair shops. Also, the smallest details count for a lot. For two years, Good News Auto has been the only shop attending to my car because they are professional. Advice from multiple people on a car problem will give conflicting, so you are never too sure what the problem may be. They are my go-to guys.
