Jumpstart Learning Centre - Ambleside

Sharon's family moved to Ambleside and had their daughter born in 2012. During her maternity leave, Sharon accompanied their child to a Mom's Group that met regularly. The moms were concerned about the available preschool programs that offered supervised play rather than a learning experience. Many programs had good intentions, but they did not succeed. As a parent, Sharon was focused on addressing these issues. Her daughter boot camp was helpful because she was prepared for school and socialized. Jumpstart Learning Centre offers daycare programs that provide high-quality Early Childhood Education so that kids can develop strong literacy, numeracy and social skills. Our programs work (because they provide this boost and jumpstart!). We provide our kids with a fun and positive learning atmosphere. This form of active participation and hands-on experiences has been very effective. We understand that children are unique learners; therefore, these activities do not limit their learning experiences. Music, drama, and active play, in addition to traditional pencil and paper activities, are used. The children can also be ready for one-on-one or group learning.
