We had an issue with a dorbell camera that was installed when our Liberty system was upgraded September 2022. The camera stopped working and the doorbell function also quit at the same time. I called Liberty the next day and after 2 weeks of going back and forth I finally got someone from tech support to talk to. They couldn't fo anything remotely and because the camera did not have a operation light on he didn't know what to do except send a tech out at a discounted price of $35.00. The camera is warrantied for 1 year but any labor is only 180 days! I didn't want to pay that money and have the doorbell camera fail again, and really, Liberty should back the product up to match the manufacturer. I declined that offer of service, found out by reading on the net about this brand of device that the transformer for the chime may be under spec and this camera has a stand by battery. So before I took the camera back to Liberty I found a charge port on the device and recharged it and reinstalled the camera back on to the system. So far so good. I believe the camera was to sensitive to anything that went by the front of the house and the back up battery ran out of power causing the shut down. The Liberty tech support should have some idea of this type of issue. When this was installed the service tech did not inspect our system or suggest a better transformer or educate me on the parameters of this product, just install and get to the next call unfortunately. Oyherwise Liberty up untill now has be good and the alarm sytem has been no problem. Just this issue and the slow reponse time.
