About this business

At Masters Art Academy, we offer art classes, workshops, and our school programs to anyone from any level, since we are a non-profit educational institution. Such programs are designed to be flexible and deeply engaging. We want our students to have enough knowledge and experience to develop their skills at a high level. The true artistic abilities are only manifested by those who have gone through an art education. Our teaching methods are inspired by the French Academy of Fine Arts, while our innovative techniques make the class feel as though you are enjoying your time in the studio without even noticing you are being coached but achieving excellence in the fine arts. Research shows that art has a positive effect on brain function and personality. Children who participate in music or visual arts have better grades and fine motor control. They also show more emotional stability, confidence, and fewer mental illnesses like ADHD or depression. This emotional stability continues into adulthood. Frederik Ros founded the Art Renewal Center. According to him, fine art has universal standards, with visual grammar and vocabulary. People from all cultures and continents find it recognizable, understandable, and meaningful. "If the artwork can't be described verbally, it won't succeed and is intrinsically worthless." All forms of art that please our eyes and ears have aesthetic value. However, if a work needs to be described verbally, it's not real visual art.

Reviews Summary

User is very impressed with the classes at Alberta Arts Academy, particularly painting, and I recommend students follow the leadership of Svetlana Kanyo because the reviewer has been taking her classes for 4 years and has learnt a lot of new techniques that they didn't know. The classes have led to a positive experience, and she has gained confidence in her work. Svetlana is supportive of her classes, and she challenges students to share their work. SInce attending the academy, she has sent her artwork to many local, national, and international contests, and she has received many accolades for that commitment. Mrs Kanyo is good, and she can share the secrets of expert painting. The reviewer has been taking classes from her for five years and her daughter has also been attending the classes. The tutor is well informed and they make the best artist. Students from the tutorial have an opportunity to showcase there talent to clubs and art shows. It is worth adding that the classes organized here, so students will easily develop their skills then try their luck by sharing their work with the world. Then I realize that the level of teaching in these cases has a lot to offer. Joined: 11/08/2021,Art school, Student, Review,Parents, Comment
