The Carrot is a welcoming, bohemian space where individuals can socialize, establish connections, appreciate several expressions of art, and make friends. Arts on the Ave began this non-profit organization in 2005 to promote neighborhood growth via the arts from NAIT to Northlands along 118 Avenue in Edmonton. Operating since September 2007, The Carrot has been managed and manned by volunteers as well as serving as the Arts on the Ave office. It has become a destination for art and connection. It remains a significant Alberta Avenue Community cornerstone, reliant on dozens of volunteers to run, not in the least of the geoff and joanne linden operationally, with cREDO Coffee overseeing the operation of the Carrot. Beyond the hardy and rich Detour Direct Trade Premium Bean, which is both delightful and responsible from cREDO, some baked goods are fresh and from the community, making them perfect accompaniments to your coffee. Join the Alberta Avenue revolution by stopping in at the Carrot today!

The Carrot Coffee House reviews generally say that it is a pleasant, cheerful location great ambiance, good coffee and better food, friendly service. In-depth reviews go into the tastiness of its coffee and café, the caring client service, the small rooms, and the nearness (good) of parking. Snacks and dinners are above average. The café appears to be a cozy place for a quick meal or to socialize. One review mentions that they hold private events like a bridal shower and a business meeting. However, some people think the coffee could be improved but overall will recommend this location.
