Arts on the Ave began this non-profit organization in 2005 to promote neighborhood growth via the arts from NAIT to Northlands along 118 Avenue in Edmonton. Operating since September 2007, The Carrot has been managed and manned by volunteers as well as serving as the Arts on the Ave office. It has become a destination for art and connection. It remains a significant Alberta Avenue Community cornerstone, reliant on dozens of volunteers to run, not in the least of the geoff and joanne linden operationally, with cREDO Coffee overseeing the operation of the Carrot.
