Santiago and Kristin, the founders of The Colombian Coffee Bar & Roastery, discovered their passion for coffee on Santiago's Colombian birthplace, Finca Santa Rita. They started selling coffee at a local farmers' market in 2017, launching our roastery. We opened our full-service coffee shop in the following year, 2018, and added a second café in 2021. The Colombian farm continues to be part of our story, as we purchase Uncle Felipe’s coffee to support our family. We travel to Colombia every year, meeting with small producers, and importing coffee beans that we roast ourselves. Our company believes that coffee is for sharing, and we use it to create connections from our family to yours. We Love Coffee Our company is full of self-proclaimed coffee addicts who come from various professional backgrounds. We are all passionate about coffee and how it affects the people we partner with. Coffee is our starting point, but we are committed to using it for good and building a better world. Our coffee is not only tasty and sustainable, but it is also traceable to the farm where it was grown. Quality Coffee for a Quality Life Our company is values-based, and our coffee products reflect that. We pay consistent high prices to farmers for their hard work. Our beans are the best not only because they taste excellent, but also because farmers are paid premium prices for it.
