The North Vancouver Recreation & Culture Commission was formed in 1970 (City of North Vancouver). The District and City of North Vancouver are joint owners. It is an honor to serve one of Canada's most active and vibrant communities. North Vancouver people enjoy recreation and culture services, and programs are enhancing their quality of life.
Operates Centennial Theatre, North Vancouver Tennis Centre, and Centennial Theatre, one of the 11 community recreation centres in England. This theatre is home to the largest North Shore performing arts venue since 1999. We also manage bookings for venue bookings in North Vancouver, including outdoor locations, fields, and other facilities.
We promote creativity and diversity and provide cultural service. By providing cultural planning tools, comprehensive Arts & Culture Grants, and a public art program, we are enhancing North Vancouver's sense-of-place.
North Vancouver Recreation & Culture is thankful to be working on the traditional, unceded territory of the Skwxwu7mesh(Squamish), s@
