Jason Ding was recommended by a friend of mine and since he was personable with good Google reviews, I decided to bring my business to him; a decision that cost me thousands of dollars. I sold my property and being a nonresident, Jason and his firm worked on certificate of compliance application and they were my agent handling all communication with CRA. My house sold back in October and I’ve continuously been following up with Jason regarding the certificate of conformance. His response was always that “this process takes time and the delay is due to CRA still reviewing my application”. Last week I decided to follow up with CRA myself and found out the compliance certificate was actually issued and sent to Jason Ding back in March. So not only did he misplace the certificate from CRA but also he has been lying about following up with CRA. If he had called CRA even once within the last 4 months, he would’ve known the certificate was issued back in March. The withheld money for nonresidents is 50% of the sale price( not the profit) so you can only imagine how much his ignorance and dishonesty cost me. I hope this review makes you think twice about doing business with this firm especially if you have a lot of money at stake.
