About this business

Life Amazing education and Social Services Society, operated by Blacks, provides immigrants and women who have experienced domestic violence with a range of services. We provide skills and training, job services, and capacity building for Lower Mainland Blacks in British Columbia. The experience of integrating into the Canadian system will be easier and faster with our Newcomers Settlement program. Our SistersCare project is an alternative housing approach for women fleeing domestic violence. Our community is resilient, equitable, socially just, healthy, and well-being. Our life skills development program helps clients become self-sufficient and assured once they relocate to permanent accommodations. Our life skills program comprises the following components: Basic skills development: literacy, numeracy, and information technology Independent living: budgeting, house administration, managing correspondence and bills, keeping appointments, and contacting services Social Skills: Resolving neighbor conflicts, Conflict Resolution, Self Awareness, Development and Social Networks.
