Flicka Gymnastics Club was founded by Louise Hemingway and John Hemingway in the year 1972. Louise, a 1960 Olympian, and her husband John Hemingway have offered first class gymnastics instruction to all ages for nearly 50 years. The club has grown from two members to now over 2000 gymnasts. Brittany Rogers won a silver medal in the 2012 Olympics, the best result in Canadian gymnastics history, along with her Olympic team. Flicka turned 50. We believe that every gymnast in the sport should be given an opportunity to accomplish realistic, attainable, and enjoyable personal success. We aim to inspire our gymnasts and help them reach their objectives. Flicka Gymnastics Club considers each child as an individual first and foremost. We wish each of our athletes to have faith in their abilities, be disciplined and strong, and take pride in themselves.
