Right from the beginning they were incompetent. Gilda had no problem telling me how much it would cost if they didn't deal with it right now vs later . She had her own pre written response, as I had to get loud just to order to this. And that should have been my first indication to me leave, but I did not. So I paid the five thousand dollar retainer, and called a week later and got a really rude response from gilda, telling me I have not paid and they're not giving me any free information. It was her.I called the week earlier, who transferred me to her secretary to take my credit card.
So now, finally, after a week, we've established that I have indeed paid and my talk with jackson todd did not convinced me they were good lawyers yet. So right away he was not listening to me and talking down to me. I was very clear what I wanted. And so after telling them that, if I didn't like their opinion, I would just go get another lawyer. They kicked me out of their office after charging 8100$
I put the five thousand down and they sent me a bill requesting another five thousand and then about an hour after that, I got the email from jackson todd, saying they're no longer going to keep me as a client, and they haven't actually done anything yet. They did not do a damn thing. They interviewed three witnesses. For ten minutes each. Charge close to 5 thousand dollars for that . So 8100$ had not so much as one thing done of which I asked.
They said that because I had lost confidence in them. That was their excuse to kick me out as a client.
I never had confidence in them.
I was waiting for them to build confidence in me, but they never did.
They simply took my money, talked down to me and then kicked me out.
So no I absolutely do not recommend using this law firm.
I am now with Dominion Law and they talked to me more justin, the free consultation then onyx law did period .
