Meet Tai Van Lam, his family owns and operates Pender Autobody. He has over 30 years of experience in the autobody industry. His path to Pender Autobody started in Vietnam in 1970 when he worked on motorbikes. When the war ended, he immigrated to Canada in 1980 and got a job in auto detailing. Due to his passion for auto refinishing, Tai quickly made his way to Head Painter. Almost 15 years ago, Tai Van Lam became the owner and operator of the shop, allowing him to fulfill his promise to quality work. Tai contributes the success of Pender Autobody to hard work, attention to detail, and great customer service. Every member of the Pender Autobody Team has these attributes. You will receive the best service and quality repairs as soon as you step into their shop.

I first repaired my Acura RDX 2008 for minor body work in 2018 and was very happy with the work done. Back in November 2022 during the snow storm, my car got into an accident and as result was non-drivable. Pender Autobody was the only shop that wanted to work with me and ICBC to schedule repair during this extremely busy time and with the holiday approaching. They did an amazing job and put my car back on the road promptly. I also had a minor issue after the main repair which was handled promptly and under warranty. Overall, I could not be happier with their work and how the shop Manager Hung handled my claim.
