Preventum Skin MD was established in 2020 by Dr. Farahani, founder and president of Preventum MD. He created his practice in 2014 and wanted to expand his services to include more cosmetic and preventive treatments after seeing the negative effects of using toxic chemicals. Preventum MD is a patient-centered healthcare practice focused on individualized treatment. Dr. Farahani gives patients control of their bodies and disease management. Skin is the most significant barrier and if not properly maintained, the number one point of entry for illnesses and symptoms. Her husband's practice motivated Jennie Farahani to develop Preventum Skin MD. Preventum Skin MD offers full-body checkups for a healthier body and any necessary cosmetic treatments that bring the skin back to optimal health. Preventum Skin MD does not offer services to make someone appear younger. Dr. Farahani emphasizes, "We don't want to make you appear like a Hollywood star or like you are 19." We just want you to feel great in your skin and out." Preventum Health and Preventum Skin MD are situated in Dunbar, where the Farahani family lives, works, and their kids go to school. Dr. Farahani prioritizes community investment and affordable healthcare.
