Tom Thumb Parent Involvement Preschool has been in existence since 1970, offering a community-based preschool that values parent participation. Our mission is to create a warm community with quality early childhood teachers, experiences, and high-quality Early Childhood professionals, supported by an environment that facilitates learning. We also offer program enrichment through community field trips, visits by local artists, professionals, and other experts. Our facility, located at St. Philip's Anglican Church in Dunbar, is open to its diverse members from all corners of the city. The morning mixed class for 3/4-year-old children has two or four sessions per week. Each class size is 16 students and 2-3 adults. The classroom is located in St. Philip's Anglican Church, Dunbar. The space is bright and spacious. It is a parent-run school where parents/caregivers actively support the teachers and help them occasionally. Tom Thumb provides an excellent environment for parents and children to develop new skills and establish new friendships.
