Born and raised in Victoria, B.C., Andrew Wade lived the majority of his adult life on Vancouver Island. Wade received a journeyman in his trade certification (Red Seal) right after finishing his degree. He spent his career journeying through various trades and tradespeople, eventually founding Wade's Plumbing and Heating. Wade's wife, a seasoned plumber and heating contractor, was his mentor. After ten years of working in real estate, he learned from her how to start. As a licensed mortgage broker in Canada, Wade discovered early on how important debt was for portfolio management and real estate investments, so he quickly realized how valuable professional services were in his industry. Wade started to study at UBC Sauder Business School's mortgage broker program. In a large brokerage, he worked for a year before deciding he wanted to provide personal services. Wade worked one-on-one with his clients to ensure they received the mortgage they needed.
