P.L. James practiced architecture with Francis Rattenbury and Hubert Savage, among others, and his brother Douglas, James and James Architects. Notable commissions include the Former CPR Building/ Steamship Terminal, Inner Harbour. This is now the Robert Bateman Gallery. Recently renamed P.L., the former Post Office on Government at Yates. James Place is named in his honor. Robert Siddall with James Polson, and Donald Dennis, continued and produced projects like Blanshard's Ministry of Health Building, The McPherson Library, University of Victoria. With new partners Jeremy Beintema, Wil Wiens, and the company renaming itself Continuum, we look forward to 110 more years of our architectural contributions to Greater Victoria.
