The series features informative luncheon or breakfast presentations from business and government speakers, covering a range of issues. Members receive regular updates from elected officials, business leaders, and thought-provoking speakers on current events affecting Victoria's business community. Greater Victoria Chamber of Commerce embraces the new, evolves when necessary, and is proud to lead the region in innovation. Our community is solution-oriented and prepared to use the latest methods to get results. We have been doing this with our over 1,400 members for 159 years because we recognize the importance of representing our community as a whole. We strive to uplift the voices of those who are often not heard, ensuring everyone is part of the conversation. Our collective voices make a difference. Chamber members over the years have fought for policies or investments that have led to many of the area's most notable landmarks and icons. The Chamber, founded in 1863, has been critical to Greater Victoria's prosperity. The Chamber initiated or was involved in creating the South Island Film Commission and South Island Prosperity Partnership. VIATEC, Destination Greater Victoria, and the whimsical Flower Count. The Chamber prioritizes innovative ideas and community leadership. Please send your speaker proposals to the Events Manager.
