Justice Education Society of BC

For 30 years, the Justice Education Society of BC (JES) has been supporting people to get and give justice around the world. We believe that building legal capacity and improving justice systems make societies more equitable. Our essential resources and programs benefit millions of women, girls, Indigenous peoples, seniors, and LGBTQI+ individuals. They can now access justice and understand the legal system. Our high-quality capacity-building efforts for justice sector professionals enable them to process cases quickly, meet legal needs in their communities, and provide justice for all. JES is people-powered—employees, legal networks, partners, and local communities cooperate. We have combined efforts to create resources and services and trained thousands of justice professionals. Our staff's and our partners have also improved justice systems in 19 other countries.
