Third Canvas Dance is an innovative and vibrant contemporary dance company, which was established in 2016 in Victoria by Kathy Lang. Lang's choreography is charged emotionally, sometimes political, and always contemporary, challenging dancers and audiences alike. The company has presented dancers who leave audiences wanting more.
You will never have a more complete experience than this innovative and technically advanced contemporary dance class. Highly trained physical skill is required to extend your abilities and develop your dancer's repertoire. The class will also examine contemporary dance professionally. In addition to the more technical portion of modern dance, strong dance techniques are necessary. This course requires dancers to be in at least two Advanced Contemporary Classes each week. Ballet is recommended.
Enjoy a graceful transition from barre practice to the center. More advanced center exercises and patterning will help those wishing to improve their choreographic abilities. This ballet technique class improves strength, balance, flexibility, and inventiveness through the ballet barre, center exercises, and a few jumps that build strength, as well as classical choreography.
