Our Founder Dr. Garrion, an American and Canadian Board Certified in Addiction medicine, started a medical career in Africa and Europe. In 2011, he moved to Canada and became a rural family doctor. He flew to communities unable to provide themselves with healthcare services. His experience treating addiction in underserved communities led him to addiction medicine education. After American Addiction Medicine Board Certification, he became a Staff Physician for Addiction Medicine at St Paul's Hospital Vancouver in 2016. He completed addiction medicine fellowship, leading him to hormones. Hormones and pain of addicts attracted his attention and studied hormones and addiction for three years, resulting in Hormone Optimization, which is part of Regenerative Medicine and Functional Medicine. Now Gerrit is an expert in Hormone Optimization but also a respected authority in Rococo, the newest medicine in our journey. Gerrit started his addiction medicine practice after meeting a wonderful patient with endometriosis, hormones, and pain. He was surprised and decided to learn from it. Four years ago, he started injections and became interested in injectors. After acquiring full certification, he learned from talented injectors. He was fortunate to receive such an education. He became gentle and careful in his injections and included aesthetics. This was a good match for Hormone Optimization. Gerrit will expand his injection practice.
