My name is Tegan Tang, and I am a proud notary public. I was raised in Vancouver Island by Vietnamese and Chinese parents. I am fluent in both English and Vietnamese and have a good understanding of Mandarin. I earned a Master's degree in Applied Legal Studies from Simon Fraser University. I worked for the Canadian government, the Government of British Columbia, the Consulate General of Canada in Shanghai, and Vancouver Island University before becoming a notary public. My 18-year career as a public officer has honed my skill in providing excellent customer service and understanding business requirements. The experience has also helped me in promoting Canadian companies and post-secondary institutions to Asia, particularly China and Vietnam. A notary public can confirm whether a client is genuine and can also verify the client's identity.
