About this business
The Division of Accounting and Information Systems (AIS) was established in July 2017 as a fusion of the Accounting and Management Information Systems Divisions. MIS pertains to how IT programs are studied and executed throughout organizations. Accounting and MIS are closely interrelated and work together to analyze both internal and external financial reporting systems as well as audit them.
The MIS Division is one of UBC Sauder School's most active. Its vibrant community includes students, faculty, and alumni. We have a strong business network, alumni, and professional associations and organizations. Our Advisory Board and Alumni Committee are two of our strongest members.

Many describe the university as a world-class institution with solid faculty and financial contributions for improved facilities. Those who have attended the university for real estate education also have favorable feelings toward the UBC Real Estate Division. They describe opportunities ahead after graduating from the school and express happiness at how the institute altered their career prospects.
