University of Victoria Students’ Society

Our mission is to provide high-quality, accessible services and advocacy to enhance student experiences. We also set out to build a cohesive campus community within our organization’s values. We see a UVSS where students participate fully in advocacy, events and services, business management, and governance. Our values are at the core of everything we do. They inform our choices and how we work together. They propel all of our work. The climate crisis is an existential threat that demands action. We will operate with the environment in mind and support sustainability initiatives that matter to students. Our goal is to lead UVic in climate justice. Climate change is interconnected with oppressive systems. We must commit to anti-racism and decolonial work in our climate justice efforts.
