The YMCA/YWCA of Vancouver Island is committed to providing a fun and safe aquatic environment. We meet both industry and provincial standards.
Families with children under 13 years old must always have an adult (16+). Members 13 and older are welcome. Members must respect every lane's sign, and circle swimming will continue. Aquatics personnel will strive to m
any to fairly distribute skills among the lanes. Comparable abilities may be asked to move to another lane.
Members may share the pool. The Max depth is 3 feet. The warmer pool and lap pool are ideal for walking, stretching, and low-impact exercises. Pool noodles as well as a broad selection of toys are available. In the pool, a 16-year-old or older must accompany children under 13 years old.
YMCA members may register for private and semi-private swim lessons. Register now. $32.50+gst for private lessons; 50% off for additional swimmers for semi-private lessons. Activities will not be refunded.

Ymca westhills .Wow I'm so unimpressed.I am 62 raising my grandchild look forward to taking him and his cousin for swim lessons on Saturdays. Been using the sauna and wet sauna while they in there lessons.The hottub has been being repaired and just started working last week .Had a long hard week sore back looking forward to hottub and sauna.Come into facility no signage saying hottub and sauna closed..I walked into hottub was partial in was kicked out was told it was a class.Went into sauna they kicked me out held the door open till I left. Very rude asked for one min I just started sweating ..nope she stood by the door with it open till I left I was so upset .They just needed to put a sign up not let people change and goi nto pool area .
