Dapper Dogs

At a young age, I had a love for animals. I initially aspired to be a vet. Realizing that this was not the right career for me as I matured, I refocused my studies. I obtained a Bachelor of Environmental Studies, majoring in Wildlife Management. During this time, I worked and volunteered with the Peregrine Falcon Recovery Program in Manitoba. I worked to reduce the number of gulls using falcons and hawks. While in school, I discovered my passion for grooming. I am a Certified Intermediate Stylist Technician with the Canadian Professional Pet Stylists. I also hold a Certified Stylist technician certificate. I am currently studying for my Level 2 Certification. I have been a member of PPGAM since 2013. PPGAM has hosted many educational seminars in Winnipeg that I have attended. I have traveled out of town to attend shows like SuperZoo Las Vegas (2013) and Mastergroom Canada Calgary (2016). In 2017, I travelled to the Groom Expo in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Three Finnish Lapphunds, Elara, and Olli are registered with the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC). Olli has earned his title as a Canadian Champion and also passed his Canine Good Neighbour test. He has also taken numerous obedience classes. Elara has obtained her Canadian Champion title. Eevee is still in training and has some points towards her Canadian Championship.

Customer reviews of Dapper Dogs are overwhelmingly positive. Most clients are pleased with the work that the groomers put in. The groomers even went above and beyond what the clients wished. For example, the reason why one client was excited about the process was that they received what they wished, which was not the case in other salons. The personnel are accommodating of all dogs and all situations because their services are prompt. This is because they aim to make sure that the customer is happy. If the pet is reactive, the staff is welcoming, and the pet will still receive a good deal. The clients are always more excited for the pet's next instance rather than going to another salon.
