Hello, my name is Bruce, and I am the principal photographer for Impact Photographic Design. I commenced my professional photography career at the young age of 17. Then, by the time I was 19 years old, Hendricks Photography was in operation. As a teenager, I shot portraits, weddings, and other commercial works. I was a partner, and a good friend invited me to move out west in 1996 to work at a prominent studio in BC’s Fraser Valley. I closed Hendricks Photography and moved to British Columbia; however, I still commuted to Winnipeg for weddings and other contracts for a couple of years before I finally moved. By then, I was morally and ethically bound to complete my contracts, but much of the profit was spent on studio expenses and travel before making the final move.
