Founded in 1998, Local Colour Art Group focuses on artists in Manitoba who specialize in various mediums and artwork. Our fundamental objective is to foster art and the production of new works within the community. This club also seeks to provide a space where artists can meet, paint, and exchange expertise, interests, and life experiences. Our goal is to stimulate growth through a series of formal educational opportunities; we will offer workshops in person, online paint and chat sessions, and periodic exhibitions of art. Local Colour Art Group requires everyone to pay $50.00 per year for membership. This consists of an annual LCAG membership fee of $30.00 and an Elmwood East Kildonan Active Living Centre membership fee of $20.00. However, it is important to note that if you are over the age of 80 and have been an LCAG member for five years, the fee for an LCAG membership is $30.00.
