Nova Montessori Preschool operates in three different locations around Winnipeg: C-3311 Pembina Hwy., 2040 Chevrier Blvd., and 613 St. Mary's Rd. Our preschool is open throughout the year and provides full-time, half-day, or part-time pre-school, Pre-Kindergarten (Pre-K), and kindergarten programs for children aged 2-6 years. All programs are available, licensed, and funded by the provincial government's Department of Families for children aged 2 to six years. The Department of Manitoba Early Learning and Child Care has approved and licensed the Pre-K and Kindergarten programs for children aged 4-6 years. Our curriculum emphasizes learning through various sensory modalities and is based on the Montessori philosophy to encourage whole-child development in children aged 2-6. Our preschool teachers are Montessori and Early Childhood certified and provide children with creative, intelligent, cooperative, and self-regulating learning opportunities. Staff members with Montessori and Early Childhood diplomas are trained in their fields and have many years of experience. Our teachers are committed to teaching children and guiding them through the Montessori curriculum.
