Peter, CPA, is the President and CEO of Westland Construction Ltd. Formerly a construction worker, Peter developed a construction project management system as part of his CPA and managerial training. This system, along with Lean Construction, has been used in hundreds of construction projects. Peter joined Westland Construction as a construction worker in 1989 and has been with the company ever since. He became president in 2001, and the company has grown and changed significantly since then. Peter is also Chair of the Executive Board for the Winnipeg Construction Association and the Canadian Construction Association. He is continuously improving and presents to industry stakeholders on various construction topics. Peter holds a sociology degree and advanced accounting designation and earned his CPA from the University of Manitoba.
